Live From Sevilla Square - summer Corner Concerts 2020

The Merchants of Sevilla Square have an exciting line up of live local musicians for our Corner Concert series.

In an effort to promote awareness of the 20+ local business located in Sevilla Square we have come together as neighbors to bring life back to our block with safe social distancing musical performances planned for the corner of State and Gutierrez st. through out the summer months.

Our Goals :

Street musicians attract foot traffic and reduce vagrancy and panhandling, so the goal of this project is to pay musicians to perform during high traffic hours this summer.

Key Points

○ Create a performance space that is safe and entertaining

○ Attract audience with music and discounts

○ Utilize a reliable scheduling system with clear instructions for musicians and merchants

○ Capitalize on marketing opportunities

Lessons Learned from our Sevilla Square Rollercade Alley Block Party 2019

○ Have enticing entertainment on the main thoroughfare

○ Offer incentives to shop

○ Lean in to social media sharing opportunities

○ Give talent partners reasons to promote
